Sunshine Skyway Bridge  (click on photo for larger view)

This has been another month of hurricanes and just plain hot weather.  I did manage to get a few good sessions in with this photo of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge located about 20 miles from Tampa, and about 10 miles South of St. Petersburg.

Another view of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge from the North Pier, late in the afternoon.  The Skyway is difficult to photograph because there seems to be a lot of "haze".  I just happen to catch a clear day.

This photo was taken at the South Pier and as you can see the light just isn't with me on this one.  The Skyway can be photographed about 1:00PM from the South Pier with better results.

Florida Sunsets

Another shot of the Florida Sunsets that always brings awe to once presents on the beach.  Sometimes they just come out of nowhere, and the colors just about blind you.

This cruse ship comes through about every Sunday, around about 6:00 PM.  You can get a listing of when the ships leave the Port of Tampa, and be waiting for them to pass through.

Sunshine Skyway Bridge

Just breaking over the crest of the Skyway Bridge where you see the large spans that support the bridges weight.  I always enjoy shooting the bridge because of its beauty and the challenge.

Florida Sunsets are always something to be hold with wonder.  This photo was taken just as Dennis was passing to the West in the Gulf of Mexico.

The sunset photos were taken from the Dunedin Causeway, located about 5 miles North of Clearwater, and 20 miles West of Tampa.
