Boca Ciega Bay

One of my favorite places to visit is the Boca Ciega Millennium Park that opened in 2001.  The park is still not visited by the locals yet, one of the reasons is that it's hard to find.  That is one of the attractions for me, no people around to get in your way.

A little stream running from the waterway, as it's called, into the park.  The water has this red color, maybe a lot of iron, or sewage?

Small island in the center is called Travatine Island located just outside the Narrows but in the Intracoastal Waterway.

Travatine Island with its full view.  The Intracoastal Waterway runs around the Island, and on the other side of the homes on the west side is the Gulf of Mexico.
