The Osprey  (click on photo for larger view)

The Osprey is one of my favorite birds.  When you view this photo notice the hypnotic eyes.  The Osprey is more common then the Eagle, and can be found along the water ways of Florida.

The Osprey

You can just see the character in this Osprey's careful attention to what I was doing.  Later he would take off just as I would start to cross over from the dock area to catch him in his large tree top..

The Red-Shouldered Hawk

Once again I was caught in a thunderstorm and had to get under one of the close by shelters.  The rain was pouring down when I seen this Red-Shouldered Hawk come flying in and landed in a tree near by.

Florida Sunsets

Another shot of the Florida Sunsets that always brings awe to once presents on the beach.  Sometimes they just come out of nowhere, and the colors just about blind you.

The Osprey

This Osprey came flying into this tree top in the early morning.  The shot was taken from about half mile away.

The Red-Shouldered Hawk

I was out shooting when a thunderstorm forced me to one of the shelters close by.  This Red-Shouldered Hawk came flying in and landed right beside me, about five foot away, on this shelter post.

The Red-Shouldered Hawk

This must be my month for the Red-Shouldered Hawk.  They are very territorial and in this case would not give an inch when I approached him.  He would however attempt to ignore my presents.

Florida Sunsets

The sunset photos were taken from the Dunedin Causeway, located about 5 miles North of Clearwater, and 20 miles West of Tampa.
