A visit to Chestnut Park

This photo was taken in Chestnut Park, about 20 miles from Tampa, Florida.  This area of the park is a swamp area, and one of my favorite places to visit.

Not a Happy Camper

This angry fellow was laying just in front of a sign that says, "No swimming, Beware of Alligators".  When I walked up on him, he swung around, and open those large jaws.

Having a Bad Day

This Osprey was setting on the shore next to a internal lake next to Tarpon Lake.  He didn't seem to mind me taking his picture, but I left him still setting in the same place.

Special Photos

One of my favorite places here in Florida, The Sunshine Skyway Bridge.  The bridge is located south of St. Petersburg and provides access to Manatee County, and all areas south.

Getting a Little Shade

This fellow was laying on the shore in the shade, and was not happy about my coming by.  He is about 12 foot in length, and very aggressive.

Going for a Ride

This is one of those photos that happens only once.  Note the dogs on the front of the boat.  The background is the Gulf of Mexico, and in the distance, Clearwater Beach.

Tarpon Lake

A beautiful view of Tarpon Lake.  The lookout tower is located in "Chestnut Park".
