Red-Shouldered Hawk

This Red-shouldered Hawk and I have been meeting each day at about 8:00 AM at the point at Chestnut Park located about 20 miles from Tampa.  He really gets disturb about others coming into his territory.

Florida Flowers 

Another beautiful Florida flower just about to "lose" its beauty.

The Osprey 

The Osprey is such a beautiful bird, always in the very tops of the tallest trees around, "just watching".  This one seen at the end of a trail filled with insets and a very muddy path indeed, to get the shot.

Great Blue Heron

The Great Blue is always around, and always after his next meal.  The green algae really is getting thick with little bubbles on the surface.

I always enjoy photographing Florida flowers year around, and try to get at least one into the magazine, either here or in the photo galleries..

Black Skimmer

Caught these Black Skimmers one early morning as they kept making there "runs" back and forth in front of me.

Beach along the Gulf of Mexico

A very lonely place at the end of the land mass and the Gulf of Mexico takes over.

The Osprey

The Osprey once again at the top of the highest tree around.  This made me walk through three inches of water to get the shot.  This summer we got a lot of rain during the day, as well as at night.
