Tampa Florida Skyline

One of my favorites places to shoot when you can catch the sun and weather.  Tampa is still growing with uptown development plans for the near future.

Sunshine Skyway Bridge 

When the sun and weather are ok, then sometimes you can get a nice shot.  In this case the haze was thick and causes a loss of sharpness in the photo.

This shot was taken just East of the bridge, and South on I-275.  The picnic area is usually missed by everyone stopping at the rest area.

When the wind is up, you will always find some out wind surfing in Old Tampa Bay just East of the bridge at the North end.

The Sunshine Skyway Bridge is always a great place to shoot either at the South end of the bridge, or the North.  You can go on the piers or just shoot around the bridge.  This shot was taken from the South end of the bridge at the picnic grounds just north of the rest area.

This shot of the bridge was taken going North on I-275 and just breaking over the crest of the bridge.  In the far distance is St. Petersburg.

When heading South on I-275 and just breaking over the crest of the bridge you can see the bridge breaking East to land in Manatee County.  The strip "shooting" out from the bridge is the South pier.

Another view of the bridge taken from a place just South of the bridge where it hits land.  Most people miss this area also because there are no signs or indication of a place to pull "off".
