A visit to Chestnut Park

  This photo was taken in Chestnut Park, about 20 miles from Tampa, Florida.  This area of the park is a swamp area, and one of my favorite places to visit.  It's not unusual to find an alligator laying along the shore line getting a little sun.  See more photos of Chestnut Park.

The American Bald Eagles

  These Eagles were shot through a fence, not something I enjoy doing. I always try to shoot in natural habits, and tend to stay away from exhibits of caged animals.  This photo was taken at Moccasin Lake Nature Park located off Drew Street in Clearwater, Florida.

Honeymoon Island

  A beautiful view of the sea grass at Honeymoon Island.

Chestnut Park

  This is one of my favorite sites to shoot.  It's not unusual to find an alligator laying along the shore line of this swamp river area.  Across the bridge is Tarpon Lake, and a play ground, picnic area, and a nice board walk along Tarpon Lake for nice long walks.

Getting a Little Sun

  This little fellow was laying along side the shore line getting some sun.  He didn't seem to mind me taking a few photos of him, and I left him still snoozing.

Hillsborough River park

  Hillsborough River State Park is located north of Tampa on Hwy 301.  This was a difficult shoot with such low levels of light.
