The American Alligator

This American Alligator was resting in the sun along the small river banks inside Chestnut Park.  Around noon time they craw up on the banks in three or four places.

Chestnut Park

You get such great views of Tarpon Lake from the tower located in Chestnut Park, located next to the boat ramps.

Honeymoon Island

This photo was taken at Honeymoon Island along the great beaches located there. Honeymoon Island State Park is located West of Tampa about 25 miles and a little North of Clearwater, Florida.

The American Alligator

I have been shooting the American Alligator for many years now, and nothing gives more pleasure then to find a big fellow like this along the banks of the Chestnut Park.
