Chestnut Park (click on image for larger view)

This fellow had just pushed up on shore when some other people were coming from the right, and he thought it was getting a little too crowded for his taste.  He let everyone know he was not happy about the invasion of his territory.

Honeymoon Island

The sunsets are always beautiful in Florida, so I decided to take a few shots one evening.  This one I like, it gives you that feeling of impending doom.  There are more sunsets photos that were taken, and some are much different than this one, check them out in the monthly gallery.

Sunshine Skyway Bridge

It's always a difficult shoot to get the Skyway Bridge for there can always be a thick haze to push your color out, but this day was a good one, and this shot gives the two center supports their beautiful gold color.  The photo was taken from the south pier which is the longest pier in the world.

Sunshine Skyway Bridge

This photo was taken from the South Pier which is about 1.6 miles long, and curves in towards the bridge at the end.  This photo does have a little haze, but it's not too bad.  The noon sun produces shadows that hide the very large columns that support the bridge.

Sunshine Skyway Bridge

The photo was taken from the North Pier, late in the afternoon, about 4 or 5.  This day there was plenty of cloud cover to give a little color to the sky, but normally it's clear and hazy.

Sunshine Skyway Bridge

This photo was shot just before entering on to the north pier, up on the side of the hill.  Tough place to get to, along with a good walk.  But like I always say, to get the good photos you must get out of the car, and "walk".
