Chestnut Park

There is always wildlife along the shoreline at Chestnut Park, but I am always amazed how few photographers I see in the park area.  If you just want to sit at a picnic table and look on to the small rivers running throughout the park, then this is the place to come.  Come during the week, the weekends can be a little crowded.

Sunshine Skyway Bridge

The haze gives no relief on this day, again filling the photo with a light fog look.  This whole year has been one of problem weather, at least from the photographers point of view.

Honeymoon Island Beach

Chestnut Park

When we shoot alligators, Gloria is always behind me, saying with a smile, that he must go through me before getting to her.  Maybe women do have more common sense?

Chestnut Park

Taken on an overcast day, this photo really captures the flavor of the park and what it has to offer.  Notice this day there is very little algae on the water, but the vegetation growth continues to creep over the small lake.

Skyway Bridge Shoreline

As you turn away from the North Pier and look North alone the shoreline, you can see the beauty of the Gulf of Mexico and the rocky shoreline.

Chestnut Park

This little river running throughout the Chestnut Park area, is filled with shots like this one.  This was taken on an overcast day, just imagine the shot on a bright, clear sunny day.  Oh yes!
