This beautiful Tri-colored Heron was coming in for a landing, and I just happened to have the camera ready.  You don't see the Tri-colored Heron that often.

These Mallard ducks were floating around on the stream of algae.  Most of the time it's like "soup" it gets so thick on this small river.

This month has been the month for the American Alligator with over 50 or 60 sittings throughout the month.  I always enjoy shooting the Alligator.

This photo was taken as the Alligator was making it through a small channel that connected a small lake to a larger one.

This is a swamp just off Lake Tarpon on the East side of the lake.  Love those swamps that are now disappearing fast.
