Beautiful Florida Prints starting at $19.95

Caladesi Island

This beautiful beach is located on the Island of Caladesi, about one-half mile off shore of Dunedin.  It's one of the best beaches I have seen in Florida, or for that matter, anywhere.  Just beyond the trees there is a beach that you dream of: not many people there, located at the north end of the Island, and has birds galore.

Chestnut Park

This little bridge is located in Chestnut Park, just after the playground as you enter the park.  The river runs a 360 degree circle within the park, and these small bridges are located for traffic, and also some for people to crossover from one side of the river to the other.  There are many shelter areas with picnic tables and restrooms along the way.  We usually park just beyond the bridge shown, and walk the 360 degree circle along the rivers and lakes edge.

Honeymoon Island

At Honeymoon Island there is a small cafe where you can have coffee, a coke, or something to snack on.  Just outside the cafe you will find these beach umbrellas you can rent.  They are very popular during the weekends, so go during the week days and you will have a much better chance of getting one.

Ft. Myers Beach

Chestnut Park

This photo was taken at the west side of the park, just a few steps from Tarpon Lake.  I am standing on a little bridge that crosses over the river, and shooting south.  Always a great place for photographers.  Location:  twenty miles west of Tampa on McMullen-Booth Road (Hwy 611) Palm Harbor.

Honeymoon Island

Honeymoon Island always has a good crowd of people on their beautiful beaches.  In the photo you can see the large "pools" of water after a good rain.  Most of the time it's difficult to get a good day for shooting for the rain can come up within minutes.  So photographers should carry small plastic bags to store their equipment in, in case it rains suddenly.  This year has been very difficult to get nice days for shooting, it rains or it's overcast.

Honeymoon Island

On Honeymoon Island at the very end of the road system and parking areas, you will find this small inland lake hidden away behind trees and bushes.  I always find the beach beautiful as it darts in and out along the lake edge.  Just to the left is the Gulf of Mexico with miles and miles of beach to play or just to walk on.
