Barred Owl  (click on photo for larger view)

This is the first Barred Owl I have seen in these parts, and probably will not see another for some time.  Make sure you see the monthly galleries for much more in photo coverage.

Northern Cardinal

One of my favorite photos taken this month.  Normally they do not stay still long enough to get a good close shot.

Red-bellied Woodpecker

These little devils just can not stay still but will continue to claim straight up the tree, and at the same time twisting around the trunk of the tree.

The Great Blue always appears to have a frown on its face.  They always make me smile.

The Tri-colored Heron is one of the most beautiful Herons and also short in the numbers.

Blue Jay

The beautiful Blue Jay is always a feisty little guy.  He can really carry on.

The Green Heron can make enough noise for ten birds.  He is a grouchy little guy..
