Skyway Bridge

The Sunshine Skyway Bridge is one of my favorite places to shoot.  This year has been difficult with the rain and bad weather.  This photo was taken from the east embankment at the South end of the Skyway Bridge.

Skyway Bridge

This is another shot of the Skyway Bridge taken from inside the bridge spans on the North side of the bridge.  The bridge links Pinellas and Manatee counties and is heavily traveled.

On the left is the Skyway Bridge and on the right is the Skyway North Pier.  The pier is a favorite fishing spot for many of the locals and visitors.  Both the North and South Piers used to be the old Skyway Bridge before the accident.

Skyway Bridge

A closer shot from the South end of the bridge, at the waters edge.  The bridge always takes on a different personality given the location you shoot from.  On this side of the bridge is called "Old Tampa Bay, but on the other side is the Gulf of Mexico.

Skyway Bridge

Another shot taken from the middle embankment at the South end of the Skyway Bridge.  To the right, on the other side of the bridge is the South Pier that runs out into the Gulf of Mexico about 1.6 miles, but curves back in towards the bridge.
