Small Lake on Honeymoon Island

This small lake inside the Honeymoon Island State Park is a beautiful place to spend a afternoon.  On the left (East), the small lake, and on the right (West) is the Gulf of Mexico, just about 250 feet from the small lake.

This area always reminds me of the old Florida with algae and a thick swamp area..

The American Alligator

The American Alligator is one of my favorite wildlife to photograph, and this one doesn't look to happy about how things are going.

Florida Beach

The beautiful beach area at Honeymoon State Park. Honeymoon also has a "Pet Beach Area" that is better then the beach area for the humans.

Honeymoon Island

One of the back "pathways" at Honeymoon State Park.  Great place for a nature hike around the peninsula that shoots out into the Gulf of Mexico.

Little Blue Heron

Oh yes, and there is "Little Blue" Heron that populate may areas of Florida.
