Wall Springs Park  click on photo for larger view)

Wall Springs Park is located off Alternate 19 about ten miles North of Dunedin, Florida.  The park is relatively new, and has as its main attraction a high viewing tower.

This view is from atop of the viewing tower in the park.  The park does have "wide walk ways" so wheelchairs can get down them, and of course nice picnic areas and restrooms.

When it comes to wildlife there is nothing better for photographing than "The American Alligator".  I am always thrilled to see, and photograph them, even after thousands of such photos.

This fellow is about 13' and close by are about three or four birds.  He was laying out on this short peninsula that shoots onto the lake.

Chestnut Park 

Chestnut Park is located about 20 miles West of Tampa, just North of Clearwater.  The park takes you back to what Florida would of looked like a few hundred years ago.

This photo shows the beautiful swamp along the stream that runs throughout the park.  I just love shooting in this small area because of the difficulty.

This photo shows this big guy taking some sun, while the Blue Huron watches in the background.  It's not unusual to see birds close by.
