Here is another view of the bridge structure taken from the East end of the bridge, the Tampa side.  The three mile walk has a "lighted" walkway all the way to the other side of the bridge, the Westside.

Here you are looking at the Westbound traffic (left) and the walkway (right).  The palm trees setting in the middle add a little beauty. The walkways along the side are for fishing.  There are two, one on each side of the center walkway.

Isn't this a great place for a long walk?  Many use the walkway every morning, noon, and night for their daily walk.  Notice the traffic on the left, and the nice lighting for the walkway on the right.
