This Moorhen was found along a small lake and "squawking" to the point you could hear him for miles.

A Small American Alligator

I spotted this little fellow as I was strolling along a dock area that leads out to Lake Tarpon.  What a surprise to see this little guy laying beside the dock.

The American Alligator is always a joy to photograph, and this month was a good one with about ten good sittings..

A Small American Alligator  

Another small American Alligator laying along side the river's bank.  I almost stepped on him!  He was laying in the high grass that grows along the river's bank.

A Look of the Old Florida

I love to shoot this area for it always reminds me of what the Old Florida would have looked like many years ago: with the thick green algae on top of the water and surrounded by a thick wooded area.

A Small Lake

What a beautiful little lake just off the Old Tampa Bay.
