Tampa Skyline  (click photo for larger view)

This view of Tampa is from Davis Island, in back of the hospital, or South-east of Tampa downtown.  I have always enjoyed shooting Tampa for the skyline was beautiful until now.  See photo to the right

This photo was taken from the support bridge that crosses over to Davis Island.  Note the yacht club that runs along the Hillsborough River.

One of the good areas for shooting the skyline is from the University of Tampa Campus.  The Hillsborough River runs along the edge of the campus and allows for training of its rowing team.

The new building in Tampa has really ruined the skyline.  The yellow building is an apartment building, but now blocks most of the skyline.

You can now see the old skyline of Tampa without the yellow apartment building in the way, and how much more beautiful it is.

This shot is taken from the first support bridge and gives a good view of the Tampa Skyline.
