Dunedin, Florida   (click on photo for larger view)

This month has been a hot one so far, but Dunedin looks cool with the blue skies, the Dunedin Marina, and the Dunedin Causeway.

The Blue Jay

I love these little "Blue Jays" they are so feisty but a real challenge to photograph.

Florida's Mule Deer

A mother mule deer eating alongside her young fawn near a swamp.  They are such gentle looking creatures and have such great senses of hearing, smell, and sight.

The Tricolored Heron

The Tricolored Heron is very rare and most of the time you don't see them around much.  They tend to stay within thickets, and marshy areas.

Dunedin Marina

What else could touch your heart like a small fawn.  Photographed this fawn eating along side the mother near the edge of a swamp.

The Black Crowned Night-Heron

The Black Crowned Night-Heron is a very strange looking bird with its slick-looking head.

The Anhinga

The Anhinga is one of the ugliest birds around, and also the nosiest.  This one just caught its evening meal, and wanted everyone within five miles to know it.
