Beautiful Florida Prints

Chestnut Park

This guy has his battle dress on, smeared with mud from head to toe.  He really looks like he means business, wouldn't you say.

Sunshine Skyway Bridge

The North Pier is the longest pier in the world, and this shot gives that perspective.  It runs out then bends to the right towards the Skyway bridge.  The "wall" you see to the right is the ending of the Skyway Bridge as it flows into Manatee County.  It's a tough climb, and a long walk to get to this point.  To the left you can see the entrance to the pier.

The Skyway Bridge South Pier

There are some things in Florida that represent the area by just seeing them, the alligator is one, and the Skyway Bridge is the other.  Many businesses use the Skyway Bridge on their web sites, business letters and cards.  But what is most interesting to me is the difference in perspective the bridge gives from the South Pier versus the North Pier.

Chestnut Park-Tarpon Lake

It's during the week and he has the whole lake to himself.  But I must admit, I love the view much better without the people present.

Chestnut Park

There is always something you have not shot at Chestnut, and this little tree area is one that is hard to find.  But as you can see it's most beautiful.  Your imagination could run away here, you can almost see the Seminole's ghosts among the trees.

Oldsmar Bridge

This shot was taken of the "Oldsmar" bridge with the Old Tampa Bay ending shown in the distance.  You can not see it, but there is a beautiful home in the midst of the trees, just to the left.  Great place for a home!

Chestnut Park-Tarpon Lake

From the tower in Chestnut Park over looking  Tarpon Lake.  Always a beautiful view that somehow takes you back in time to a more peaceful, simple time.  Maybe that's why I shoot landscapes, I get to see that more basic time in the life of our environment.

Skyway Bridge Support

The center span on the Skyway Bridge.  You can see the truck right at the center post, that gives you some idea  of the enormous size of the bridge.
