We are driving along the Bay Shore Blvd., along the road is a sidewalk where you ride or walk until you drop. A very peaceful view and walk, but not representative of Tampa. We must always contend with the "haze" when shooting Tampa, but this day it wasn't so bad. We could have used a few more clouds, however.

Tampa Skyline

This is a shot of downtown Tampa with the bridge crossing over to Davis Island. We are on the third bridge shooting north, but we still don't have all the sun, but all in all, not too bad of a shot.

Tampa Downtown

Shot from the first bridge, you can see the principle buildings of the downtown area. A beautiful skyline for such a busy city. There is a world of difference between Tampa, and across the bay to St. Petersburg, maybe a better expression would be a "different world."

Skyway Bridge - North Pier

Another one of my favorite sites to shoot the "Sunshine Skyway Bridge". But always the haze seems to put a "gloom" into the photos. Very seldom do you get a nice clear day to shoot the bridge. This shot was taken from the north pier.

Tampa Skyline

Another shot as we move along Bay Shore Blvd., towards Tampa downtown. This shot was taken at about 35mm, without the zoom lens. Such shots always gives me some kind of a strange feeling when looking at the photo.

Chestnut Park

You would almost believe I was standing beside this big guy, but you would be mistaken. I always keep my distance from these fellows, they are very fast on their feet.

North Pier Shoreline

As we were approaching the north pier to the Skyway Bridge I happen to see this fellow along the shoreline.

Skyway Bridge - North Pier

This photo was shot just before entering on to the north pier, up on the side of the hill. Tough place to get to, along with a good walk. But like I always say, to get the good photos you must get out of the car, and "walk".
